Mr. ZHANG has extensive expertise in commercial litigation, bankruptcy/insolvency matters, and intellectual property. His client portfolio includes prominent Chinese enterprises such as Sinopec, CNOOC, Industrial and Commercial Bank of China, Capital Airport Group, and Cinda Investment, as well as trading and investment enterprises hailing from the US, Germany, Australia, India, Turkey, Brazil, UAE, Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore, and other countries or regions. Throughout his career, Mr. ZHANG has represented clients in over one hundred cases before the Supreme People’s Court of China, various local courts, and arbitral institutions like the China International Economic and Trade Arbitration Commission.
Education
Mr. ZHANG obtained his LL.B. in 2011 and LL.M. in 2013 from China Foreign Affairs University. Fluent in both Chinese (Mandarin, native) and English, he is well-equipped to handle international legal matters with precision and cultural sensitivity.

In addition to his litigation and arbitration work, Mr. ZHANG has also contributed to the legal field through publications and lectures. His book, “Win in Chinese Courts – Practice Guide to Civil Litigation in China,” was published by Springer Nature.
